TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SUC RAIT event ticketing platform (“Platform”), operated by the Student Union Council (“SUC”) of Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (“RAIT”), Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
// 1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The Platform provides online ticketing and pass-purchase services for college fest events organised by SUC, RAIT. Services include browsing event information, purchasing digital event passes, and managing your pass portfolio.
> All passes are digital-only. No physical tickets are issued.
// 2. USER ELIGIBILITY
To use this Platform, you must:
> Be at least 16 years of age
> Have a valid Google, GitHub, or Microsoft account for authentication
> Provide a valid Indian mobile phone number
By using this Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet the above eligibility criteria. Users under the age of 18 represent that they have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian, as required under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
// 3. ACCOUNT & AUTHENTICATION
Users sign in via Google, GitHub, or Microsoft OAuth. By signing in, you authorise us to access your basic profile information (name and email address). You are required to provide a valid phone number upon registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@nmhorizon.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
// 4. PASS PURCHASES & PAYMENT
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card details, UPI credentials, or bank information. Only order reference IDs and transaction statuses are stored on our servers.
> All pass purchases are non-transferable.
> Passes are valid only for the event and date specified.
> Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
// 5. ALL SALES ARE FINAL — NO REFUND POLICY
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds will be issued after a successful payment, except as mandated by applicable Indian law.
Event passes are time-sensitive, capacity-limited, and non-reusable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy. For the full details of limited exceptions, please review our Refund Policy.
This policy is consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which recognises that certain categories of time-sensitive services (including event tickets) may carry limited or no refund provisions, provided adequate disclosure is made at the point of sale.
// 6. EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
SUC reserves the right to modify the event schedule, venue, performers, line-up, or other event details at any time without prior notice.
In the event of a force majeure occurrence — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or civil unrest — SUC may cancel or postpone events without liability.
> In case of full event cancellation by the organiser with no rescheduled date, store credit or rescheduled entry may be offered at the organiser’s sole discretion. No cash refunds are guaranteed.
// 7. USER CONDUCT
By attending events, you agree to:
> Behave in a respectful and appropriate manner
> Comply with all college rules, regulations, and instructions from organisers
> Refrain from carrying or consuming illegal substances, weapons, or contraband
> Not engage in harassment, violence, or disruptive behaviour
The organisers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any attendee who violates these conduct rules, without refund. Violations may also be reported to college authorities and/or law enforcement.
// 8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SUC and RAIT’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the use of this Platform or attendance at events shall be limited to the amount of the ticket price paid by the user for the specific event in question.
In no event shall SUC, RAIT, their affiliates, officers, faculty, or student members be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or personal injury not caused by gross negligence.
// 9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All branding, logos, artwork, content, design elements, and source code on this Platform are the intellectual property of SUC, RAIT, and their respective creators. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
// 10. PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
// 11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:
> Indian Contract Act, 1872
> Information Technology Act, 2000
> Consumer Protection Act, 2019
> Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
// 12. AMENDMENTS
SUC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
